backbasement was established in 2004 with the goal of exposing
some dc-based music to the world. backbasement lacks a definite genre
and shouldn't be confused for a label. lately, backbasement has been
geared towards releasing dj mixes and electronic/hip-hop instrumentals.
throughout the year more will be posted, but look out for more rock-based
material this coming spring and summer.
